STAY-AT-HOME ORDER is in effect, and Garner Town Hall is closed to the public until further notice. However, Development Services (Planning, Inspections, Engineering) is accepting drop-off submittals and correspondence in the Town Hall main entrance vestibule during business hours. Residents currently have only online and phone options for utility and tax bill payments. Field inspections will occur between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. And the schedule for the unprepared trash and yard waste pickup has been modified. Stay well, stay home.

Thank you for visiting the Town of Garner’s website. Here you'll find information on the Town as a municipal government and as a community and place to live.

I take great pride in serving as Garner's mayor. We're a fast-growing town of over 32,000 people.

Our strength is in our citizens, who are active in our many civic clubs, fraternal organizations and places of worship. That's why we were named an All-America City in 2013. Together we are always working to make Garner better. The challenge is to manage and embrace our growth while preserving our hometown atmosphere.

Please visit the Town’s website from time to time and look for updates and information about what's happening in your community. You can also get the latest information by signing up to receive the monthly Town of Garner citizen newsletter and by following us on our various social media pages.

Feel free to contact me at (919) 773-4404 or at kmarshburn@garnernc.gov if you have comments or questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Mayor Ken Marshburn
