On Monday, crews will resume the special spring trash/yard waste pickup. Crews still need to complete yard waste collection in areas south of Poole Drive but north of Timber (portions of gold and green routes). Crews also need to pick up mattresses, electronics, TVs and tires in various parts of town. For more information about any waste collection matters, please contact Public Works at (919) 772-7600 Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Thank you forMayor visiting the Town of Garner’s website. Here you'll find information on the Town as a municipal government and as a community and place to live.
I take great pride in serving as Garner's mayor. I grew up here. I remember when our population was only a few thousand. Today we're a fast-growing town of over 31,000 people.
Our strength is in our citizens, who are active in our many civic clubs, fraternal organizations and places of worship. That's why we were named an All-America City in 2013. Together we are always working to make Garner better. The challenge is to manage and embrace our growth while preserving our hometown atmosphere.
Please visit the Town’s website from time to time and look for updates and information about what's happening in your community. You can also get the latest information by signing up to receive the monthly Town of Garner citizen newsletter and by following us on our various social media pages.
Feel free to contact me at (919) 772-5783 (home) or (919) 773-4404 (office) if you have comments or questions. You can also e-mail me at I look forward to hearing from you.

Ronnie Williams, Mayor
