Town offices and facilities are closed Monday, Jan. 19, for MLK Day. Trash and recycling pickup remain on regular schedule. Parks are open normal hours. Join us Sunday, Jan. 18, at Garner Performing Arts Center (742 W. Garner Road) for the community's annual MLK Celebration at 4 p.m. A short Unity Walk precedes the event, with participants gathering in the GPAC parking lot by 3:15.

This 4-acre neighborhood park is located in the forest Hills subdivision behind Vandora Springs Elementary School. The park has a picnic shelter that seats up to 15 people and play equipment. The picnic shelter is available on a first-come, first-served basis at no cost.
