The Recreation Center features a gymnasium with a wood floor surrounded by two multipurpose rooms, plus a game room and the Avery Street Park playground. Each multi-purpose room can accommodate a meeting of up to 20 people. |

Garner Performing Arts Center742 W. Garner Road 919.661.4602 With 471 seats, the Garner Performing Arts Center adapts well to a variety of uses. The GPAC contains an expansive backstage area, cushioned seating, fly space and rails, separate dressing rooms with restrooms, a green room and loading dock. |

Garner Senior Center205 E. Garner Road 919.779.0122 Great for larger events like family reunions and church functions, Garner Senior Center's multipurpose room can hold up to 150 people. This space is available weekends and some evenings when not in use by the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. |

Garner Recreation CenterComing in 2019! This 40,000-square-foot facility will have three basketball courts, an elevated walking track, three multipurpose rooms, family restroom and shower facilities and a multipurpose field. The facility is being built with money donated by ConAgra, Parks and Recreation Trust Fund grant money and bond proceeds approved by voters in 2013. The new recreation center will be located at the corner of Main and Montague Streets and is expected to open in 2019. |
White Deer Park Nature Center2400 Aversboro Road 919.661.6982 At 96 acres, White Deer Park is the largest park in Garner. The park features open space, five shelters that seat up to 50 people, two playgrounds, 2 miles of paved trails and a 2,500-square-foot, LEED Gold-certified Nature Center. The Nature Center classroom and deck are available to rent when not in use by the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department. |
