Whether you’re a dance troupe, music ensemble, cultural group, or another type of performing group, we’d love to showcase your talent and bring a diverse lineup of performances to the celebration.

Each selected group will receive a 15-minute performance slot.

Artisan Vendors

We’re inviting local artisans, makers, and creative vendors to be part of our exciting Diwali celebration! Share your unique creations, connect with the community, and bring your creativity to this vibrant celebration.

Whether you create jewelry, artwork, home décor, clothing, handmade gifts, or other one-of-a-kind pieces, we’d love to have you join us!

Preference will be given to vendors offering culturally inspired, handmade, or South Asian–themed products.

Diwali Artisan Vendor Application

Parking will be available at the following locations:

• Garner Recreation Center (215 W Main St.) - handicap parking available until full 

• Main Street 

• Garner Lions Club (305 W Main St.)

• Garner Baseball Inc. (417 W Main St.) 

For the following location please cross railroad tracks only at designated crossings on St. Mary's St. or Benson Rd/Hwy 50. 

• Avery Street Recreation Center (125 Avery St.) 

Getting Around:

Free accessible parking will be available close to the event space at the Garner Recreation Center (215 W Main St.) on a first come, first served basis. The parking surface and surface up to the event entrance is paved. The event space surface is grass and mostly flat.

We have been able to provide a sensory supportive space with funding through the North Carolina Recreation and Park Association New Initiative Grant. This can be found near the handicap parking lot event entrance near the Garner, Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources booth. Look for our branded tent.

Can I bring my Pet? 

Pets are permitted at this event as long as they are well-behaved and on a leash at all times. Pets that are barking or acting aggressive will be asked to leave. All pet waste must be picked up and disposed of in a trash receptacle.

Can I bring my own food or drink?

Yes, outside food and drink is allowed, however, alcohol is not permitted to be brought or consumed at the event.

Can I bring a lawn chair?

Yes! feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket to watch the stage performances. Please refrain from bringing any umbrellas, tents, etc. that may block people's view.
