Project Scope: This project includes constructing East Garner Rd and Jones Sausage Rd intersection improvements including dedicated turn lanes, pedestrian curb ramps, pedestrian push buttons, and a multi-use path on the north side, along with road widening for the north bound (east side) travel lane from East Garner Rd to the Amazon Distribution drive access. The improvements on the east side will consist of the additional travel lane, curb and gutter and a 5 ft sidewalk. The west side of Jones Sausage Rd will require grading and a new ditch line.
Funding Source: LAPP Funding and 2021 Street and Sidewalk Improvement Bonds project
Design Consultant: HDR, Inc.
Current Status (updated February 2026): Design efforts are on-going. Real Estate acquisition is anticipated to start early 2026.
