Town offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, June 19, for the Juneteenth holiday. Trash and recycling collection will remain on regular schedule. Garner's annual Juneteenth Celebration will be held Saturday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at Garner Performing Arts Center.
Loose leaves will be collected by the Town of Garner's solid waste contractor. Residents can rake loose leaves and pine straw to the edge of the street, behind the curb for biweekly collection. Leaf collection coincides with the week of your regular recycling week schedule (refer to your recycling calendar), unless weather or holidays cause delays. Leaf piles must be free of stones, bricks, branches, and other solid objects. Call Public Works at 919-772-7600.
