MONDAY EVENING UPDATE (7:30 p.m.): Town Hall will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Monday’s Planning Commission meeting has been postponed until Tuesday at 7 p.m. Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources will operate all facilities and programs noon-5 p.m. Tuesday. All facilities will close 5 p.m. with all evening programs canceled. Meals on Wheels will NOT operate Tuesday at Garner Senior Center. Solid waste should be on regular schedule.

Each year the City of Raleigh produces a chart showing how Wake County municipalities and others around the state compare when it comes to cost of municipal services. Below is the chart, released Sept. 25, for fiscal year 2018-19 (you can click on the chart for a downloadable pdf).

One thing to note is that Garner's water/sewer rates are set by City of Raleigh Utilities, which provides water/sewer service to the town.
