Town Hall and other indoor facilities will be closed Friday, April 19 in observance of Good Friday, but regular solid waste collection will occur as usual. On Monday, crews will resume the special spring trash/yard waste pickup. We still need to complete yard waste collection in areas south of Poole Drive but north of Timber (portions of gold and green routes). Crews also need to pick up mattresses, electronics, TVs and tires in various parts of town. For more information about any waste collection matters, please contact Public Works at (919) 772-7600 Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (closed Friday, April 19).

See How Cost for Services in Garner Compares with Other Towns and Cities

Post Date:09/25/2018 5:58 PM

Each year the City of Raleigh produces a chart showing how Wake County municipalities and others around the state compare when it comes to cost of municipal services. Below is the chart, released Sept. 25, for fiscal year 2018-19 (you can click on the chart for a downloadable pdf).

One thing to note is that Garner's water/sewer rates are set by City of Raleigh Utilities, which provides water/sewer service to the town.
