 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

The Garner Town Council will hold public hearings to review the cases below on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 6 p.m. All public hearings are held in the Ronnie S. Williams Council Chambers of the Garner Town Hall, located at 900 7th Ave. Garner, NC 27529.

Annexations:

REVISED - Voluntary Contiguous Annexation Petition #ANX-26-003, 7854 White Oak Rd (MAP HERE

Voluntary contiguous annexation petition (ANX-26-003) submitted by Laila Farzana to bring 8.51 +/- acres, plus an additional 0.16 +/- acres of right-of-way into the corporate limits of the Town of Garner. The property is generally located at 7854 White Oak Rd; and may be otherwise identified as Wake County PIN #(s) 1720503016.

Zoning Map Amendment #CZ-26-002, 7615 Ten-Ten Rd (MAP HERE)

Tier 1 conditional district rezoning request submitted by Worth Mills of Longleaf Law Partners to rezone 31.24 +/- acres from Rural Agricultural (RA) and Commercial Mixed Use (CMX C197) Conditional to Commercial Mixed Use (CMX C327) Conditional.  The site is located at 7615 Ten Ten Rd and 0 Ten Ten Rd. It may be further identified as Wake County PINs 0689883918, and 0689889232.

       Zoning Text Amendments:

Zoning Text Amendment #ZTA-26-002, Funeral Homes in the NMX District

Zoning text amendment submitted by the Town of Garner Planning Department to permit Funeral Homes by right within the NMX district. The proposed amendment introduces specific use standards, requiring all storage to be contained within an enclosed building and the screening of all display materials from public rights-of-way and adjacent residentially zoned lots or uses.
