Public Hearing Notice for March 17, 2026: Comment Period Opens for Development of FY27 Budget

The Garner Town Council will hold a public hearing in the Ronnie S. Williams Council Chambers, located at Town Hall, 900 7th Ave, Garner, NC 27529, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, ahead of the FY27 Recommended Budget.

In preparation for the development of the Town of Garner’s FY27 Recommended Operating Budget, the Town is asking residents and interested parties to share comments, suggestions and perspectives that may inform the Town’s ongoing budget development process.

As part of the Town’s commitment to a transparent and inclusive budget development process, the Town’s online budget engagement portal will also launch during this period to receive community input. The portal can be found at https://www.garnernc.gov/departments/budget/fy27-budget-portal. All residents are encouraged to attend and will be provided an opportunity to submit oral or written comments related to the FY27 Budget.

Questions and comments regarding the FY27 Budget can be directed to Garner Budget Director Sara Warren at swarren@garnernc.gov.

Interested parties are invited to appear before the Town Council and comment during this public hearing. Individuals needing assistance or aids should contact the Town Clerk’s office prior to the meeting at 919-772-4688.
