Help Shape Town Priorities by Participating in 2026 National Community Survey

Invitations Going Out Now to Randomly Selected Households; Open Participation Begins Later in Month

Post Date:January 05, 2026 9:55 a.m.

The Town of Garner is partnering again with Polco, a leader in the field of civic engagement and surveying, to conduct the 2026 National Community Survey. This comprehensive survey is customized for Garner and will help us understand your needs so we can serve you better. We strongly encourage all residents and community members to participate so that we can learn more about your priorities for our community.

In this first phase, randomly selected households will receive mailed survey invitations over the next few weeks. If you receive an invitation, we encourage you to please follow the instructions and share your input. If you aren't selected for this initial survey effort, a community-wide survey will be available starting Jan. 30. Watch our social media for announcements, or sign up to be notified when that survey is ready by visiting polco.us/n/res/signup

Survey results will be compiled in a report by Polco and shared with the community upon completion. Your feedback will help shape the Town's future strategic planning and budget decisions.

The Town participated in the National Community Survey for the first time ever in 2024. You can find those survey results on our survey landing page.
