Starting this week (July 28), Raleigh Water will begin emergency utility repairs near the Vandora Springs and Buffaloe roads roundabout following a recent pipe failure. Work will take place on a section of Vandora Springs between the roundabout and Old Stage Road and on a portion of Buffaloe south of the roundabout (see map above). The repairs, which are expected to take three to four weeks, will force some lane closures. Motorists are urged to slow down and use extra caution in the work zone.
