Veterans Day Observance

Celebrate and recognize the men and women who have served our country in the armed forces. Enjoy music and a keynote address, as well as a program to honor those who have bravely served our country. This free event is co-sponsored by the Garner Veterans Advisory Committee. Location: Aversboro Road Baptist Church (1600 Aversboro Rd, Garner, NC 27529).

Community events held in Town of Garner parks that extend beyond a standard shelter reservation may require a Special Park Use Permit. This includes events such as festivals, concerts, charity walks, road races, tournaments, large community gatherings, and other organized activities that may impact park operations or require coordination with Town departments. For additional information about permit requirements, visit the Special Park Use Permit page.
