Garner Christmas Parade Scheduled for Dec. 1

Grab a front-row seat and join the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department as marching bands, floats, classic cars, Santa Claus and many other entries make their way through downtown in the annual Garner Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. This year’s parade theme is "Christmas Past and Present."

General parking will be available at Garner Recreational Park and the Garner Senior Center.

For a parade entry application, visit www.garnernc.gov/Forms/Parks%20and%20Recreation/2012_Garner_Christmas_Parade_Application.pdf. The deadline for receipt of applications at the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources office at Town Hall (900 Seventh Ave.) is 5 p.m. Nov. 19.
