Foreclosure Prevention Workshop on Oct. 6

The North Carolina Housing Coalition will conduct a foreclosure prevention workshop on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Solid Rock Ministry International, Southeast Campus, 410 Lord Berkely Drive, Raleigh from 9 a.m. to noon. Breakfast will be provided and will be served beginning at 8:45 a.m.

Topics to be covered will include:

Legal Aid of NC
• Foreclosure Prevention

NCHFA – NC Foreclosure Prevention Fund
You may qualify for help if you are:
• Job searching
• Improving job skills
• Employed but need to catch up on your mortgage payments

Down-payment assistance programs
• City of Raleigh up to $20,000
• Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) up to $5,000

Free counseling assistance
• Credit counseling
• Foreclosure prevention counseling
