ROAD REMINDER: Vandora Springs-Buffaloe Intersection to be Closed

NCDOT's roundabout project at Vandora Springs and Buffaloe roads began on Wednesday (Sept. 12), and the intersection will be closed to all traffic except emergency vehicles starting Monday (Sept. 17). Signed detours will be in place using Old Stage Road, Woodland Drive and Timber Drive. To help traffic flow, a permanent traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of Woodland Drive and Old Stage Road. The Vandora Springs-Buffaloe intersection is expected to reopen by Nov. 16, with the project finishing five days later.
