Celebrate Nation's Birthday in Garner on July 3

Join the Town of Garner on Tuesday, July 3 for its 25th Annual Independence Day Celebration at Lake Benson Park (921 Buffaloe Road).

Enjoy entertainment, tasty concessions and fun activities for the entire family including a kids’ adventure zone with inflatables and crafts. The Air Force’s 916th Air Refueling Wing will make a special appearance with a KC-135R Stratotanker.

Sit back, relax and listen to Garner’s own Rozlyn Sorrell sing the national anthem with the North Carolina Symphony. The orchestra will then perform a full Independence Day concert. At the performance’s conclusion, the best fireworks show in Wake County will light up the sky.

Gates at Lake Benson Park open at 5 p.m. Shuttles will depart from Bryan Farm (1832 New Bethel Church Road) beginning at 5 p.m. Handicap-accessible parking will be available at Lake Benson Park.

Guests are reminded that no pets are allowed at this or other Town-sponsored special events. Exceptions apply for trained service animals.
