Garner Participates in Special Olympics Torch Run

Garner Police Department personnel, along with members of Garner Volunteer Fire-Rescue, Inc., and others in the community, participated in the North Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics on May 31. The Torch Run’s Flame of Hope was carried along U.S. 70 in Garner for nearly three miles then passed on to the Raleigh Police Department.
