Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Town of Garner Town Council at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016, to consider the following applications. The Council will meet at 912 7th Avenue in the Town of Garner Police Department Training Room.

Conditional Use Rezoning and Conditional Use Subdivision Plan: CUD Z 16-01: Conditional Use Rezoning CUP SB 16-02: Kelly’s Crossing Subdivision

CUD-Z-16-01, Kelly’s Crossing Rezoning: Hopper Communities is requesting to rezone 18 acres located at 1300 W. Garner Road for a residential subdivision. The current zoning is R-20 residential. The proposed zoning is residential R-9 Conditional Use (R-9 C181). The property can be further identified as Wake County PINs 1711258325 and 1711351432.

CUP-SB-16-02, Kelly’s Crossing Subdivision: Hopper Communities is requesting conditional use permit approval for a 41-lot residential subdivision. The property is 18-acres and located at 1300 W. Garner Road and can be further identified as Wake County PINs 1711258325 and 1711351432.

Kris Bengston is requesting a conditional use permit for a brewery taproom which is classified as both a light industrial service use and a bar/tavern use in the Unified Development Ordinance. The property is owned by Raleigh Portfolio LPS 101 LLC, located at 1800 Garner Station Boulevard, and can be further identified as Wake County PIN 1711232356. The property is zoned Service Business Conditional (SB-C20).

A Resolution to Dispose of Certain Personal Property

PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY THE Town of Garner that at its regular Council Meeting on April 19, 2016, the Council will consider a Resolution relating to disposition of certain items of personal property, to wit: those few items of furniture and other furnishings of limited value left in the former Town Hall Buildings A and B which have not been relocated to the present Town facilities, prior to demolition of those two buildings. A portion of the Resolution relates to the offer of donation of the Council dais, the speaker’s stand, and such other items of furniture and furnishings as might be desired by another unit of local government pursuant to NCGS §160A-280, and the remainder relates to the sale of such items to non-profit Town public funding agency partners.
