Garner Police Identify Victims from Morning Incident

Post Date:11/06/2016 4:11 PM

Garner Police are continuing their investigation into the incident that occurred at 1832 Spring Drive early Sunday morning.  The deceased male has been identified as 32yo Randolph Davidson, B/M.  The female, identified as Kellie Jacobs "Harris", 26 W/F, suffered multiple stab wounds .  She is currently in stable condition at Wake Med ICU.  These two subjects are believed to have been in a personal relationship.

Investigators believe the altercation started inside the apartment, rented by Ms. Harris, before moving outside to an area near the apartment complex parking lot.  A nearby resident, 26yo Kyle Jensen (1814 Spring Drive), heard the screaming and yelling from the assault and came outside his apartment to investigate.  Upon observing Davidson assaulting Harris, he fired several rounds from his personal handgun, striking Davidson several times.  Davidson then ran back into the apartment where police later found him.   The female was outside when officers arrived.  Both subjects were transported by Wake County EMS to Wake Med in Raleigh.   At this time, no charges have been filed against Mr. Jensen and he is not in custody.
