AT&T Designates Second Garner Site 'Fiber Ready'

Post Date:10/31/2016 5:03 PM

AT&T and the Town of Garner announced today that the Garner Technology Center has been designated AT&T Fiber Ready. It is the second business park in the town to receive this designation. The AT&T Fiber Ready designation helps economic development leaders to more effectively position their communities for site selection by emphasizing the availability of high-speed, fiber-based services.

With almost 100 acres adjacent to Interstate 40, the Garner Technology Center is the premier industrial site in Wake County. Businesses here will enjoy easy access to one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States with significant industry clusters in the areas of technology, life sciences, smart grid and advanced manufacturing. Aerial footage of the site can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jgm2M2QAno.

For more information about the AT&T Fiber Ready designation, please see the attached news release from AT&T.

For more information about the Garner Technology Center and other economic development opportunities in Garner, please contact Garner Economic Development Director Joe Stallings at (919) 773-4431 or at jstallings@garnernc.gov.
