Garner Police Investigate Early Morning Robbery
Police still looking for the second suspect

Garner police have filed charges against Jessie Martin McLaurin, 23, of Raleigh for Robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon. He is still at Wake Med receiving treatment for his injuries. The victims in this case are Alfred Potter of Raleigh and Michael Hyde of Holly Springs. Police recovered a handgun at the scene and are still looking for the second armed gunman involved in this incident. Investigators are working with other local law enforcement to determine if these individuals are involved in similar crimes in the Raleigh/Wake County area.
Garner Police Investigators are continuing their investigation into the early morning robbery at Buffaloe Brothers restaurant, 7245 Whiteoak Road. Two suspects entered the closed business at around 4:48am and attempted to rob two victims inside the store. The victims do not work for Buffaloes Brothers restaurant. They were contract employees there working on the interior of the building.
As the suspects were attempting to rob the victims, a struggle occurred and one of the suspects was shot. The second suspect then fled on foot toward Target with an undisclosed amount of cash. Neither victim sustained any injuries in the incident. The injured suspect was taken to Wake Med and was being treated for his injuries.
The second suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, 5'9-5'10 with thin muscular build, possible facial hair, and short hair. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a dark long sleeve shirt.
