Vision

All Garner-area public schools provide a quality education in a safe and stimulating learning environment.  Students exceed expected standards and gain skills for successful lifelong learning.  Faculty and administrators initiate and participate in activities to promote high achievement and prepare students for the challenges of life and learning.  Parents, community members, and educational colleagues recognize Garner-area public schools as schools of excellence, creativity, and enrichment, resulting in highest quality teachers seeking employment in Garner-area public schools and students selecting Garner-area public schools as their schools of choice.

Mission

The Garner Educational Foundation seeks to improve educational achievement among all students attending Garner-area public schools through activities that encourage communication and involvement among students, parents, school staff, and business and community leaders and that support students and teachers in achieving success and recognition.

Goal:  Garner schools are recognized as schools of choice by area students and the community at large.

Objective 1:  Educational support for students and staff is provided to GEF schools.

Objective 2:  Recognition and community involvement activities highlight success by students and staff of GEF schools.

Objective 3:  GEF programs and activities are recognized by and supported in the community.
