Celebrating Media Centers in Garner Schools The Garner Educational Foundation hosts appreciation nights for Garner schools at Barnes & Noble bookstore--Cary location (760 SE Maynard Road across from Cary Town Center). On each celebration night, a percentage of the proceeds from the purchase of products from books to magazines to coffee by attendees using the special school code or coupons distributed to the school students will be awarded to that school for the media program. During each evening event, the featured school will showcase students sharing music, art, and/or storytelling. Thanks to all who attended the Fall 2010 events for Timber Drive Elementary School and East Garner Magnet Middle School and the Spring 2011 events for Creech Road Elementary School and Timber Drive Elementary School!
