Camp Invention
The Garner Educational Foundation, since 2006, has joined with the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation to offer a summer session of Camp Invention at East Garner Magnet Middle School. The camp is open to rising first graders through rising sixth graders in the Garner area. Students attending this week-long, academic enrichment day camp participate in activities focusing on science, math, history, technology, and the arts as they study inventions. The 2011 CI program in Garner will once again be at East Garner Magnet Middle School. For general information on Camp Invention check www.campinvention.org. Specific information about the 2011 camp will be available in early 2011. |
