The Garner Educational Foundation, since 2006, has joined with the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation to offer a summer session of Camp Invention at East Garner Magnet Middle School. The camp is open to rising first graders through rising sixth graders in the Garner area. Students attending this week-long, academic enrichment day camp participate in activities focusing on science, math, history, technology, and the arts as they study inventions. The 2009 CI program in Garner will be June 22-26, 2009, at East Garner Magnet Middle School.
