Join the Garner Educational Foundation in celebrating the skills and achievements of the students and staff in the eleven Garner-area public schools by participating in, attending or supporting:

Spring 2009: 

--Annual Baccalaureate Service for graduating GMHS seniors will be at Aversboro Road Baptist

   Church on Sunday, May 17.  Details are available from GMHS contacts Jon Sherwin and
   Mary Stone.

--Recognition events: 

--May 4^th reception for award-winning educators at Garner Town Hall, 7pm, just prior to the
   Town Council meeting

--The SCOR luncheon for volunteers will be June 3rd at Garner United Methodist church at
    noon.

--retirement dinner for 2009 school retirees; date, time, and location to be determined
   Summer 2009:

--Fourth annual Camp Invention at East Garner Magnet Middle School for rising first through
   sixth graders will be June 22-26.

--Scholarships to GMHS graduating seniors from GEF will be announced at the May 18^th
   GMHS Awards Night.
