Report a Street Light Outage (Progress Energy)

What's New:

There will be NO trash and recycling pickup September 6, 2010. All routes will be moved to next day service.

The Public Works Department will collect unprepared trash & yard waste throughout the month of November, based on route colors of the various solid waste collection areas in town. Check the listing below for information on the date of collection in your area.

Sewer Service:

To initiate service to a property which has not previously been connected to the Town's sewer system, call the Building Inspections Department at 919-773-4433. To open a new account using an existing sewer connection or for questions about your water and sewer bill, call the City of Raleigh billing staff at 890-3245.

Water Service:

Water/Sewer Billing: For questions about your water/sewer bill, call the City of Raleigh billing staff at 890-3245.

New Construction: To initiate service to a property which has not previously been connected to the Town's water system, call the Building Inspections Department at 919-773-4433.

New User: To open a new account using an existing water connection call the City of Raleigh Utilities staff at 890-3245.

Water Meters: To have a meter installed at a new building or to have a meter checked if it appears to be inaccurate, call the City of Raleigh Utilities staff at 919-890-3245.

For Water / Sewer Emergencies:

Between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm call the Public Utilities Operations Division at (919) 250-2737 to report a broken main or overflowing sewer. After hours call the after-hours emergency number at (919) 829-1930. The City of Raleigh is responsible for breaks in water and sewer mains in the street, but the property owner is responsible for breaks on private property.
