Garner Police Charge 2 in Robbery - Friday, January 31, 2014

Garner police arrested Christopher Anthony Clegg, age 19, of
Raleigh, and Timothy James Chism, age 20, of Garner, and charged them with
multiple offenses related to a reported robbery which occurred today, January
31, 2014 at 12:18 p.m. The robbery
occurred at 915 Bryan Pl. and both suspects were arrested in the parking lot of
Forest Hills Shopping Center shortly after the robbery.
Christopher Clegg was charged with felonious assault with a
deadly weapon (pellet gun), felonious larceny (2 counts), conspiracy to commit
common law robbery (2 counts), and misdemeanor assault.
Timothy Chism was charged with felonious larceny (2 counts),
conspiracy to commit common law robbery (2 counts), misdemeanor assault, and misdemeanor
possession of marijuana.
The victims, Christopher Adams and Corey Juliano, are
out-of-state residents who were traveling through Garner. The robbery occurred while the victims attempted
to purchase marijuana from the suspects.
Both suspects have been taken to the Wake County Jail.
