Garner Police Seek Hit and Run Driver/Vehicle  -  Wednesday, March 26, 2014
Garner police responded to a hit and run involving a moped and Toyota pickup truck on March 25, 2014 at 7:24 p.m. The driver of the moped was transported to WakeMed with serious injuries. The investigation leads us to believe the suspect vehicle is a mid-2000's or newer white Toyota pickup truck with blue lettering on the door. The truck is missing the passenger side mirror and antenna. Anyone with information on the possible location of the truck or the identity of the driver is asked to call the Garner Police Department at 919-772-8810.

Garner Police Offer Reward in Unsolved Murder  -  Tuesday, March 18, 2014
Garner police investigators are seeking the public's help in an unsolved homicide and felony assault from November 30, 2012 that occurred in the parking lot of 207 Johnson St. Investigators believe there are person(s) who have information that will assist in the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for the murder of Latoya McNeil, and are offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Garner police are seeking Perry Michael Wilson, age 38, for the domestic assault at 1404 Faye Dr. on March 4, 2014 at 10:00 pm. Garner police have charged Mr. Wilson with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and violation of a domestic violence protective order.

Police Make Arrest in Armed Robbery  -  Tuesday, February 18, 2014
Garner police investigators arrested Timothy Deonte Cooper, age 22 of Garner, today for armed robbery which occurred at Family Dollar, 505 Plaza Cir, Garner. According to investigators, Mr. Cooper used a handgun to rob the Family Dollar store before it opened around 6:15 am on December 23, 2013.

Garner Police Charge 2 in Robbery  -  Friday, January 31, 2014
Garner police arrested Christopher Anthony Clegg, age 19, of Raleigh, and Timothy James Chism, age 20, of Garner, and charged them with multiple offenses related to a reported robbery which occurred today, January 31, 2014 at 12:18 p.m. The robbery occurred at 915 Bryan Pl. and both suspects were arrested in the parking lot of Forest Hills Shopping Center shortly after the robbery.

Garner Police Make Arrests in String of Break-ins  -  Thursday, January 16, 2014
Garner patrol units responded to a reported attempted residential breaking and entering at 102 Barslund Ct. on 1/12/14 at 3:58 p.m. GPD K-9 Unit Officer David Taylor and Bandit tracked the suspects to 108 Barslund Ct., and our patrol units were able to arrest three suspects for the attempted break-in. Investigators from our agency responded, and through interviews and search warrants were able to link one of those suspects to other break-ins occurring in Sandlin Branch, and were able to develop a fourth suspect in the previous cases. As a result, Garner police were able to clear three previous residential break-ins in the Sandlin Branch community which have occurred since October 2013.

GPD Weapon Charge at GMHS  -  Friday, January 03, 2014
On January 3, 2014, Andrew Garrett Eye, age 18, of 1028 Bellewood Farms Rd, Raleigh, NC was charged with possession of a weapon of mass death and destruction for an incident at Garner Magnet High School, 2101 Spring Dr, Garner, NC.

Garner PD Seeks to ID Larceny/Fraud Suspect  -  Tuesday, December 17, 2013
On Saturday, 12-7-13, between 2:49 pm and 3:59 pm an unknown suspect took four employees’ personal belongings while they were working at Kick Back Jacks, 1405 Garner Station Blvd. These items included various credit and debit cards.
