Garner Police Seek Robbery Suspects  -  Wednesday, January 14, 2015
Garner police are investigating an armed robbery at A1A Sweepstakes, 214 Forest Hills Dr., that occurred on January 13, 2015 at approximately 11:45 p.m. Three unknown black males entered the store and robbed the cashier of money. At least one of the suspects was armed with a silver handgun.

Garner Police Make Arrest in Robbery  -  Tuesday, December 23, 2014
On December 18, 2014, Garner police investigators arrested and charged Steven Rachon Guthrie, age 38, of Garner on with the crime of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon for an armed robbery occurring on September 24, 2014 at Burger King, 1566 Benson Rd. Mr. Guthrie allegedly used a handgun to rob the cashier of money. No one was injured in this robbery.

Garner police are seeking the location and identity of an unknown Hispanic male who attempted to forcibly kidnap a female while armed with a knife earlier this morning at Abberly Place Apartments off Timber Dr. East.

Garner police are seeking Maurice Terril Dublin, age 29, who is missing from 105 Avery St. Garner and suffers from a cognitive impairment. He left his home on foot around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2014 and was last seen wearing light colored jeans, a brown coat and a Chicago Bulls beanie. Anyone knowing the location of Mr. Dublin is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency or the Garner Police Department

Police Investigate Serious Crash  -  Thursday, October 16, 2014
On 10/16/14 Garner police school crossing guard Tammy Hawkins, age 53, was struck while in the crosswalk at Timber Dr. and Harth Dr. Mrs. Hawkins was attempting to stop traffic on Timber Dr. for students to cross the road after school. Tammy Hawkins received serious injuries as a result of the collision.

UPDATE - Garner Investigators File Charges  -  Tuesday, October 14, 2014
On October 13-14, 2014, Garner investigators charged Kaylah Tynee Wilson, 675 E. Garner Rd, Garner, with multiple crimes as a result of their investigation into these reported thefts. Ms. Wilson, age 18, was arrested at her home on October 13, 2014 and has been subsequently charged with the following offenses: misdemeanor larceny - 7 counts; felony financial card theft - 3 counts; misdemeanor fraud - 3 counts; felony financial identity theft - 1 count; and felony obtaining property by false pretense - 1 count.

Garner Police seek suspect  -  Thursday, October 09, 2014
Garner businesses and schools are asked to be alert for an unknown black female who has entered several businesses and schools under the pretense of volunteering and/or completing an internship. Once admitted to the building, the suspect has stolen credit cards, cash, and phones from purses. This female is described as 16-21 years old, with glasses on in at least one incident, and wears her hair pulled back. The suspect may also be in a green four door sedan.

Armed robbery of the Burger King restaurant  -  Wednesday, September 24, 2014
The Burger King was robbed on this date of an undisclosed amount of currency. One suspect entered the store and displayed a handgun during this incident. He left on foot, and his location is unknown at this time.
