Refund Policy:

For all programs, classes and athletic leagues, a 100 percent refund will be issued if program is cancelled by the department.
 
For classes and programs, all refund requests received at least 7 days prior to the beginning date are entitled to a refund issued by credit card or check.  A $5 refund fee will be charged.
 
For picnic shelter rentals, all refund requests received at least 12 days prior to the rental date are entitled to a refund.  A $5 refund fee will be charged.  There are no refunds for inclement weather.
 
For adult and youth athletic leagues, all refund requests received prior to the player evaluations or team meetings are entitled to a refund issued by credit card or check.  A $5 refund fee will be charged.
 
No refund will be issued for requests received after the registration deadline or for programs $5 and under.
 
No refunds will be issued for ticket sales at the Garner Performing Arts Center unless the performance is cancelled by the department.
 
Medical hardship based refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department staff.
 
A $25 service charge will be charged for all returned check.
 
In special circumstances, fees may be transferred to another Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Program. Please ask a department representative to determine if this option is available.
