Open Mid-March through the end of October.
The Lake Benson Boathouse is located at 975 Buffaloe Road. Come and experience Garner's best keep fishing secret, and enjoy a lazy afternoon fishing for Bass, Crappie, Catfish, and more. Participants can use their own trolling motor and battery, the boathouse has jon boats and canoes available for rental. Senior citizens are half price for a full day rentals. There are no private boats allowed on the Lake. The Boathouse will be open mid-March through the end of October (including some holidays). Hours of operation will be Friday 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. (Friday operations will be suspended during July and August.)
